Dear Readers,

     Happy Summertime (for those of us in the northern half of this dizzy old sphere)! I don't know about all of you, but for me, summer is a time of longing, of remembering, of savoring, of introspection. The works in this issue perfectly capture these and many of the other varied moods of the season (and even a couple of the autumn ahead). It is my fond wish that you take as much delight in reading this issue as I have reading these and all of this quarter's submissions.
